Intopii enters into agreement with Cognex Corporation

SEPTEMBER 6--Intopii (Oulu, Finland; www.intopii.fi), a research-and-development firm specializing in intelligent technologies, has entered into a cooperative agreement with Cognex Corporation (Natick, MA; www.cognex.com), a supplier of machine-vision systems. Under the agreement, Intopii will work with Cognex to develop advanced
analysis and classification tools for the Cognex SmartView surface-inspection system.

Intopii develops and offers products and services based on its expertise in advanced intelligent technologies such as neural networks, pattern recognition, and computer vision. Intopii works closely together with end users, integrators, and OEMs in various industrial fields helping to find solutions to challenges in quality assessment and process monitoring.
