LumaSense Technologies closes acquisition of Mikron Infrared

MAY 8--LumaSense Technologies (Santa Clara, CA, USA) has closed the acquisition of Mikron Infrared (Oakland, NJ, USA).

MAY 8--LumaSense Technologies (Santa Clara, CA, USA; www.lumasensetech.com/), a provider of sensing solutions, has closed the acquisition of Mikron Infrared (Oakland, NJ, USA; www.mikroninfrared.com/), a manufacturer in the field of infrared noncontact temperature measurement and thermal imaging. "We are excited to have closed the acquisition successfully," said Vivek Joshi, CEO of LumaSense Technologies. "This acquisition significantly expands LumaSense's solutions portfolio as we grow our business in the clean technology, energy, and medical markets. Mikron represents the fourth acquisition LumaSense has made since 2005.
