OCTOBER 22, 2009--The COOL-6000 is a cooled, high-resolution, full frame camera that delivers 3072 x 2048 pixels with 14-bit output. A large full-frame sensor achieves high light sensitivity as well as quantum efficiency up to the near-infrared range. With its high NIR sensitivity, the camera is appropriate for solar cell inspection and bioscience applications requiring long exposure times.

PRESS RELEASE

Cooled 6 Mpixels Full Frame Camera

With the COOL-6000 VDS Vosskuehler presents for the first time a cooled and high resolution full frame camera.

The camera delivers 3072 (H) x 2048 (V) pixels, being digitized with 14 bit.

By means of the large full frame sensor of the COOL-6000 a very high light sensitivity as well as a quantum efficiency up to the NIR range is being achieved.

Owing to the high NIR sensitivity the fields of application of the camera are solar cell inspection and bioscience applications requiring long exposure times.
