OCTOBER 20, 2009--The GigE uEyeRE cameras comply with IP65/67 standards. A GigE interface allows high-speed image acquisition with cable lengths up to 100 m. The compact cameras are available with CCD and CMOS sensors with resolutions ranging from VGA to 10 Mpixels. An extensive software bundle simplifies integration into any application. A comprehensive software developer's kit (SDK) as well as third-party drivers for most image-processing software applications are included. For customers requiring a common software interface to achieve camera interoperability, DirectShow and GenICam support is available with all cameras.

New IP 65/67 Compliant GigE Cameras
IDS Imaging is proud to announce the launch of the GigE uEyeRE, a new line of rugged GigE cameras compliant with the IP65/67 standards. Besides being able to reliably perform in dusty and wet environments, the GigE uEyeRE cameras come with the flexibility of the Gigabit Ethernet interface. This flexibility allows for high-speed image acquisition with cable lengths up to 100 meters.
The GigE uEye RE cameras are available in a compact housing and carry all features required in outdoor and indoor vision applications. This new line of cameras is available with CCD and CMOS sensors with resolutions ranging from VGA up to 10 Megapixel.
Like all cameras of the uEye series, the GigE uEye RE ships with an extensive software bundle to allow for an easy integration into any application. A comprehensive SDK as well as 3rd Party drivers for most image processing
software applications are included. And for those customers who want to use a common software interface to achieve camera interoperability, IDS Imaging offers DirectShow and GeniCam support with all of their cameras.
