PRESS RELEASE

Ultra-Miniature Cube Cameras Free Integrator of Space Restrictions

Toshiba Teli (Irvine, CA, USA) miniature cube cameras offer integrators their choice of options to fit various applications in factory automation, robotics, metrology, rework stations, motion analysis, elevator monitoring, and even calibrating live images with laser beams. The CS8620 series includes models capable of imaging in the near-infrared range with RS170 (EIA) and CCIR compatible models.

Offered in four unique models, their well-rounded feature sets include random trigger shutter, external sync, pixel clock output, 60dB signal-to-noise ratio, restart/reset, AGC and choice between either EIA (752 × 582) or CCIR (752 × 582) output with 1/2" CCD sensors and standard C-mount for your choice of lens. CS8620 series cameras attain a horizontal resolution of 570TV lines, ensuring sharp images of high density with less moiré fringes.

Additionally, CS8620 cameras are available with or without IR sensitivity. When used with an IR illuminator, those cameras with near infrared sensitive CCDs achieve highly detailed surface inspection of superficial irregularities, blemishes or defects not easily observed in the visible spectrum.

The miniature CS8620 cube camera measures just 29mm × 29mm × 32mm, freeing the integrator of space restriction problems. These cameras are highly compact and light in weight (50g).

The four models are:
CS8620i RS170 (EIA)
CS8620Hi RS170 (EIA), near infrared
CS8620Ci CCIR
CS8620HCi CCIR, near infrared
