PRESS RELEASE

Alternative Vision Corporation (Tucson, AZ, USA), the North American distributor for Optec S.p.A., is pleased to announce the arrival of the new f/1.4 SWIR lens series from Optec S.p.A.

The first complete lens line designed for large format (20.5 mm) SWIR imagers, the Optec f/1.4 SWIR series combines high throughput with very low vignetting and distortion. Ideal for a variety of high-performance imaging applications, the Optec f/1.4 SWIR series is optimized for use with indium gallium arsenide (InGaAs) SWIR sensors. Individual models support 900-1700 nm, 1700-2300 nm and even 900-2300 nm wavelength bands, respectively.

The Optec f/1.4 SWIR series, available in five focal lengths ranging from 25 mm to 100 mm, features a front protective window and a choice of lens mounts: Nikon F-mount, Canon FD mount, or M42 thread mount. The lenses also feature standard front threads for bandpass filters and allow for a large working distance from the back of the lens to the focal plane. All models feature an adjustable iris and adjustable focus that can be motorized upon request.

Pricing for the Optec f/1.4 SWIR series starts at $US 6500.00 (QTY 1) depending on the configuration. Lead time is two to six weeks from ordering.
