Stemmer Imaging has opened its new European training center at its headquarters in Puchheim after several months of renovations and begun conducting training sessions. The company's subsidiary in Tongham, UK, also offers hands-on-training in a variety of different image processing topics in the new premises.

Training topics include basics of optical techniques and illumination, programming with the software library Common Vision Blox, as well as rapid solutions with smart cameras. Product-oriented training sessions such as the Cognex smart camera series In-Sight; DALSA machine vision software suite Sherlock, or DALSA vision sensors are available as part of the regular program.

In addition, Stemmer Imaging offers customised training and arranges special technology days. An event around 3-D imaging scheduled for the beginning of 2011 is already in preparation. The current training schedule is on the Stemmer Imaging website.
