ISRA Vision AG (Darmstadt, Germany), a provider of industrial image-processing, surface inspection, and 3-D machine vision systems, has generated order entries with a volume of nearly EUR 7 million in recent weeks. Compared to the same period of the previous year, incoming orders have almost doubled.

With an order backlog of more than EUR 36 million Euros (PY: approximately EUR 35 million), ISRA isconfirming its forecasts for the current financial year. Currently, the company expects that the tragic events in Japan will only have a negligent effect on its overall business. ISRA is currently represented in Japan selectively on a business level in the glass and metal markets. A dependency on the Japanese market does not exist due to the relatively small share of total revenues in the low single-digit range.

During fiscal year 2010/2011, ISRA plans to introduce more than 25 new products and applications to the market in the next two years.

ISRA also says it will usedirected investments in international sales, in the expansion of the technical teams in addition to R&D to advance its focused growth strategy. For FY2010/2011 (Oct. 1, 2010-Sept. 30, 2011), the company plans double-digit growth with revenues of more than EUR 70 million, with improved margins.
