Paul Kellett to retire from the AIA

The Automated Imaging Association (AIA, Ann Arbor, MI, USA) announced this week that Paul Kellett will be retiring from his position as Director of Market Analysis at the end of January 2013.

The Automated Imaging Association (AIA, Ann Arbor, MI, USA) announced this week that Paul Kellett will be retiring from his position as Director of Market Analysis at the end of January 2013.

He will be replaced by Alex Shikany who will work with Kellett until that time.

Shikany is a recent graduate of Michigan State University's Broad MBA program where he majored in Marketing and Finance. He also graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Michigan State.

Before joining the AIA, Shikany worked for Belden Wire and Cable, where he conducted an in depth market analysis of the Canadian market and developed a revised brand strategy for one of their main product lines.

Among Shikany's responsibilities will be producing quarterly statistical reports on robotics, vision, and motion control, updating the association's websites with recent economic data and reports, and developing articles on new market opportunities.
