Stemmer Imaging (Puchheim, Germany) is expanding its activities in Europe with the acquisition of Iris Vision (Gorssel, The Netherlands).
As of today, Iris Vision will be trading under the name Stemmer Imaging and will be servicing Stemmer's customers in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.
The new subsidiary of Stemmer will provide imaging and machine vision components and services in the Benelux countries through its own sales office in Belgium which match the portfolios offered by Stemmer at its four existing locations in Germany, the UK, France and Switzerland.
Dietmar Serbée, the current managing director of Iris Vision, will be responsible for managing the renamed company.
The current four Stemmer Imaging subsidiaries ended this year -- the 25th year that the company has been in business -- with a turnover of 55.3m Euros, slightly higher than the previous year.
