Baumer's software simplifies vision sensor interface and parameter settings

VeriSens web-based user interface software has been redesigned to enable users of vision sensors to efficiently reconfigure and adjust settings. With the new software, application-related parameters can be combined in a user-configurable menu. Access is possible across all operational systems without plug-ins via a standard web browser that is typically installed on the equipment. The VeriSens software and vision sensors can run up to 32 different feature checks simultaneously within one job. Up to nine features can be freely selected in the web interface and presented to the machine operator for reconfiguration. The web interface is available on a cross-series basis for all new VeriSens models of the ID, CS, XF and XC series.

NEW PRODUCT PRESS RELEASE

BAUMER INTRODUCES INTUITIVE NEW VERISENS WEB INTERFACE

Southington, Conn. -- To simplify quality inspection processes, Baumer has redesigned its VeriSens web-based user interface software to enable users of vision sensors to
efficiently reconfigure and adjust settings. With the new software, users can combine application-related parameters in a user configurable menu.

With just a few finger taps, the user can adapt settings at the machine. Access is possible across all operational systems without plug-ins via a standard web browser that is typically already installed on the equipment.

The VeriSens software and vision sensors can run up to 32 different feature checks simultaneously within one job. Up to nine of these features can be freely selected in the web interface and presented to the machine operator for reconfiguration, considerably reducing procedural complexity.

In addition, the software enables even inexperienced users to perform individual adaptations. The web interface is available on a cross-series basis for all new VeriSens models of the ID, CS, XF and XC series. An easy software update allows current users of Baumer vision sensors to benefit from the advantages as well.
