The Embedded Vision Alliance (Walnut Creek, CA, USA) is to host the Embedded Vision Summit, a technical educational forum for engineers interested in incorporating visual intelligence into electronic systems and software.

The Embedded Vision Summit is part of the DESIGN West Expo event, which comprises the Embedded Systems Conference as well as other conferences, and an exhibition floor.

The Summit will provide a technical educational forum for engineers, including how-to presentations, seminars, demonstrations, and opportunities to interact with Alliance member companies.

The event is intended to inspire engineers' imaginations about the potential applications for embedded vision technology through presentations and demonstrations. It will also offer practical know-how to help engineers incorporate vision capabilities into their products as well as provide opportunities for engineers to meet and talk with leading embedded vision technology companies.

The Embedded Vision Summit will take place on April 25, 2013 at the San Jose Convention Center (San Jose, CA, USA). Attendees will be automatically registered for a free DESIGN West Expo pass.

Information on the technical speakers at the event can be found here.
