At the Control Trade Fair 2013, FRAMOS will showcase its module image processing solutions for measurement and object detection using 2D and 3D technologies.

At the Control Trade Fair 2013, FRAMOS will showcase its module image processing solutions for measurement and object detection using 2D and 3D technologies. The VLG Volume Measurement System offers a solution for obtaining geometric measurements of objects on conveyors and is tolerant of surface properties, and the shape and position of the object. In addition, it uses a light grid to measure length, width, and height of the object and determines the smallest circumscribing box to generate volume, position and orientation of the object at the same time, which they say increases safety and security.
