AIA: USB3 Vision compliancy process to be released this summer

The USB3 Vision Technical Committee, which has been working to develop the compliance process for USB3 Vision, expects the process to be released this summer, according to a June 20, 2013 issue of Global Vision Standards Update.

The USB3 Vision Technical Committee, which has been working to develop the compliance process for USB3 Vision, expects the process to be released this summer, according to a June 20, 2013 issue of Global Vision Standards Update.

The process, according to the AIA, will involve:

  • License application form
  • Electrical and cable compliance tests
  • Compliance matrix
  • Software validation suite for devices
  • PlugFest for public demonstration of devices and venue for software to interoperate with three different cameras
