This year, BitFlow celebrates its 20th anniversary as a global manufacturer of video frame grabbers for machine vision and medical imaging.

Reynold Dodson, President and Avner Butnaru, CEO of BitFlow, Inc.

With a commitment to making machine vision more cost efficient, productive, and faster, a group of engineers from the imaging industry founded BitFlow in the summer of 1993. This year, the company celebrates its 20th anniversary as a global manufacturer of video frame grabbers for machine vision and medical imaging.

Among BitFlow's more well-known products are the Raptor, a local bus frame grabber, which is capable of interfacing to analog and digital industrial cameras. The company also launched the Road Runner, which is a PCI bus-mastering digital frame grabber on the market, and the first frame grabber to feature BitFlow’s now standard FlowThru architecture.

BitFlow is currently working on its next generation of CXP frame grabbers, the Cyton, which uses the company’s new PCIe Gen 2.0 interface, according to the press release.
