DSI expands family of optical thin film coatings

DSI has expanded its family of optical thin film coatings by including antireflection (AR) coatings, hot and cold mirrors, front-surface mirrors, and IR coatings for commercial and industrial applications.

DSI has expanded its family of opticalthin film coatings by including antireflection (AR) coatings, hot and cold mirrors, front-surface mirrors, and IR coatings for commercial and industrial applications. These new coating products include the following wavelengths: ultraviolet (UV), visible (VIS), near-infrared (NIR), shortwave infrared (SWIR), midwave infrared (MWIR), longwave infrared (LWIR) and very longwave infrared (VLWIR) wavelengths. These coatings can be applied to a variety of substrates includes glass, ceramics, plastics, metal, and active device silicon wafers. In addition, the coatings are suitable for use in display, night vision, lighting, astronomy, biomedical, X-ray, and life science applications.
