FARO releases Focus3D X330 3D laser scanner

FARO Laser Scanner Focus3D X 330 can scan objects up to 330 meters away in direct sunlight, and with integrated GPS, is able to correlate individual scans in post-processing making it ideal for surveying-based applications.

FARO Laser Scanner Focus3D X 330 can scan objects up to 330 meters away in direct sunlight, and with integrated GPS, is able to correlate individual scans in post-processing making it ideal for surveying-based applications. It features a measurement speed of up to 976,000 points/second, a ranging error of ± 2mm, an integrated color camera, as well as multiple sensors, including GPS, compass, height sensor, and dual axis compensator. The 240 x 200 x 100 mm scanner can produce dense point clouds containing millions of points that provide detailed 3D images of large scale geometries. FARO Laser Scanner Focus3D X 330 is suitable for use in large part inspection, civil engineering, accident reconstruction, forensics, non-contact inspection, and asset and facility management.
