Datalogic announces Gryphon GPS4490 presentation scanner

Datalogic’s Gryphon GPS4490 reader is an omnidirectional presentation scanner which features a 40°H x 26°V field of view and is suitable for use in point of sale retail applications, as well as commercial services, including postal, banks, and public administration settings.

Datalogic’s Gryphon GPS4490 reader is an omnidirectional presentation scanner encased in IP52 housing which features a 40°H x 26°V field of view, 752 x 480 pixel image capture, and LED lights for power and reading indications. The GPS4490 also features Datalogic’s "Green Spot" technology, which provides a direct readout by projecting a green spot directly on the code just read. In addition, the scanners are available with RS-232 or USB interface, and also feature an external trigger button for testing and alignment. Gryphon GPS4490 scanners are suitable for use in point of sale retail applications, as well as commercial services, including postal, banks, and public administration settings.
