Vision Components releases OEM board camera with 16 bit color depth

Vision Components’ VCSBC6085 intelligent OEM board camera features a 16 bit color depth and a 2/3“ CCD image sensor, and is suitable for use in life sciences, food and beverage, and pharmaceutical applications.

Vision Components’ VCSBC6085 intelligent OEM board camera features a 16 bit color depth and is able to distinguish between 65,536 shades of grey (with standard cameras only limited to 256 shades.) The 1,280 x 1,024 pixel camera features a Sony ICX285 2/3" CCD image sensor and a 16 bit A/D converter instead of a standard 10 bit model. In addition, the camera features an integrated 300 MHz DSP, 32 MB Flash, 128 MB DDR-RAM memory, and a 100 Mbit Ethernet interface. VCSBC6085 cameras are suitable for use in x-ray imaging, as well as life sciences, food and beverage, and pharmaceutical applications.
