Microscan’s PanelScan traceability and inspection machine vision system is specifically designed for printed circuit board (PCB) arrays. PanelScan, which can be integrated into existing systems, captures 1D and 2D barcode data from multi-array PCBs at the front end of mid-stream on any surface mount technology line. The system features up to two GigE line scan cameras and lenses, up to two NERLITE Smart Series LED lights, trigger, and cables. In addition, built-in software enables integration into an existing manufacturing execution system and allows an upgrade to the full functionality of Microscan Visionscape software to access inspection tasks such as absence/presence, measurement, and OCR/OCV.
