Newnex and XIMEA announced USB 3.0 product interoperability

Newnex Technology Corp. and XIMEA have announced product interoperability between Newnex’s USB 3.0 connectivity solutions and XIMEA’s USB 3.0 cameras.

Newnex Technology Corp. and XIMEA have announced product interoperability between Newnex’s USB 3.0 connectivity solutions and XIMEA’s USB 3.0 cameras.

XIMEA’s xiQ USB3 Vision complaint cameras were tested on USB 3.0 cables and repeaters, including:

  • US2-AMCBI1-05: USB3.0 A to Micro B locking screws cable
  • FireNEX-uLINK 8M: USB 3.0 Active Repeater Cable, 8M, with locking screws
  • FireNEX-uLINK 12M: USB 3.0 Active Repeater Cable, 12M, with locking screws
  • FireNEX-5000: USB 3.0 Optical Repeater up to 100m, with locking screws

Tests were performed at various modes of operation and with high data rates using Windows 7.
