ZEISS introduces new Otus machine vision lenses

ZEISS has announced the release of the Otus machine vision lens, which features an aperture of f/1.4 and a focal length of 55 mm, and is suitable for use in industrial machine vision applications.

ZEISS has announced the release of the Otus machine vision lens, which features an aperture of f/1.4 and a focal length of 55 mm. The lens is available with an F mount or EF mount, and is equipped with a floating elements design with 12 lens elements in 10 groups, including a double-sided aspheric lens and six lenses made of special glass with anomalous partial dispersion. Otus lenses have a focusing range of 0.5m to infinity, a 43mm diameter of image field, and a 0.3m to infinity free working distance range. Otus machine vision lenses are suitable for use in industrial machine vision applications, including the final inspection of displays and inline inspection of printed materials or textile.
