FluxData, Inc. has announced the release of the intelligent SWIRcamera system, which incorporates a 640 x 512 UTAS Sensors Unlimited InGaAs sensor with a 1 GHz Texas Instruments ARM Cortex-A8 DM3730 onboard processor. The camera system is available in NIR/SWIR (700-1700nm), SWIR (900-1700nm), and multispectral SWIR versions. The multispectral SWIR is offered in collaboration with Ocean Thin Films PIXELTEQ and includes a pixelated filter array which allows the simultaneous acquisition of three or more standard or customized spectral bands with a single camera. In addition, the camera features USB 2.0, RS232, and Ethernet ports, an M42 lens mount, NTSC/PAL video output, and 850nm, 1064nm, and 1055nm laser illumination options. The intelligent SWIR camera system is suitable for use in biometrics, vision systems, and security and surveillance applications.
