PixeLINK expands USB 3.0 camera family with launch of Titan CMOS camera

PixeLINK has announced the release of its Titan PL-D7715 USB 3.0 camera, the first in a new line of CMOS cameras, which adds to the company’s existing USB 3.0 cameras.

PixeLINK has announced the release of its Titan PL-D7715 USB 3.0 camera, the first in a new line of CMOS cameras, which adds to the company’s existing USB 3.0 cameras. The Titan PL-D7715 USB 3.0 camera features a 1/2.3” Aptina CMOS rolling shutter image sensor with a 1.4 µm x 1.4 µm pixel size that achieves a frame rate of 13.7 fps at full 15 MPixel resolution. Users can choose 8-bit or 12-bit digitization and an external hardware trigger and two general-purpose outputs provide users with the flexibility to synchronize the camera with their processes and illumination. In addition, the camera includes a number real-time image pre-processing functions, including auto and manual exposure, programmable lookup tables, auto and manual white balance, and binning. Titan PL-D7715 cameras are suitable for use in document scanning, flat panel display and PCB inspection, aerial photography, and general machine vision applications.
