Toshiba Teli introduces USB 3.0 camera with Sony global shutter sensor

Toshiba Teli has announced the release of the BU238M (monochrome) and the BU238MC (color) Teli Bee USB 3.0 cameras, which feature a 2.4 MPixel Sony Exmor global shutter IMX174 CMOS image sensor.

Toshiba Teli has announced the release of the BU238M (monochrome) and the BU238MC (color) Teli Bee USB 3.0 cameras, which feature a 2.4 MPixel Sony Exmor global shutter IMX174 CMOS image sensor. The sensor, which features a pixel size of 5.86 µm x 5.86 µm, achieve a maximum frame rate of 165 fps and features a peak quantum efficiency of more than 70%. The USB3 Vision cameras also feature a USB 3.0 interface, C-Mount lens mount, mono 8-bit video format (BU238M), and Bayer 8-bit video format (BU238MC). Toshiba Teli’s BU238M/MC cameras will be available in June 2014.
