Messe Stuttgart has announced that VISION 2014 will feature the first ever “Inspect Application Forum,” in which potential users of machine vision technologies can link with the system and solution providers most suited to them.
Florian Niethammer, Project Manager for VISION, Messe Stuttgart explains that the forum will target both providers of machine vision solutions and components, as well as potential end users.
"The new presentation format is an ideal supplement to existing offers such as the VISION Integration Area," he said. "Firstly, it is directed at providers with system solution competence, but also at component providers who can appear together with their system partners."
The forum will provide information on the specific requirements for one to two different machine vision applications per day. System integrators and machine vision system providers in the following applications can register until June 30 and submit topic proposals:
- Food and beverage
- Pharmaceutical
- Automotive
- Non-industrial machine vision (e.g. agriculture, logistics, security)
