Baumer expands portfolio with new LX series of dual GigE cameras

Baumer has announced the release of its LX series of cameras, which feature CMOSIS image sensors and a dual GigE interface.

Baumer has announced the release of its LX series of cameras, which feature CMOSIS image sensors and a dual GigE interface. The first of the three new models in the LX series is the 8 MPixel LXG-80, which features a 4/3” CMOSIS CMV8000 image sensor and achieves frame rates of 13 fps (Single GigE), and 27 fps (Dual GigE). The 12 MPixel LXG-120 features an APS-C CMOSIS CMV12000 image sensor and achieves frame rates of 9 fps (Single GigE), and 18 fps (Dual GigE). The third model in the series, which is available in June, is the 20 MPixel LXG-200, which features a 35mm CMOSIS CMV20000 image sensor and achieves frame rates of 5 fps (Single GigE), and 11 fps (Dual GigE). All of these models are available in color or monochrome and feature Power over Ethernet, multiple I/Os, and are GigE Vision and GenICam compliant. LX cameras from Baumer are suitable for use in industrial image processing, surface inspection, packaging, 2D/3D measurements, and PCB inspection applications.
