EVT introduces EyeSens turned part inspection vision sensor

Eye Vision Technology (EVT) has annouced the release of the EyeSens TPI (turned part inspection) vision sensor, which is designed for the automated inspection of turned parts on a production line.

Eye Vision Technology (EVT) has annouced the release of the EyeSens TPI (turned part inspection) vision sensor, which is designed for the automated inspection of turned parts on a production line. EyeSens TPIis available with either a CCD or CMOS image sensor with a pixel array up to 2448 x 2050 pixels. The vision sensor, which has a 1 GHz CPU and runs on a Linux operating system, achieves frame rates up to 52 fps and features a web user interface-based image processing software based on EVT’s EyeVision. The version currently available on the EVT website features a 1/3" CMOS sensor with a 782 x 485 pixel array that achieves a frame rate of 30 fps. EVT’s EyeSens TPI sensor is suitable for use in industrial inspection applications.
