In an effort to bring together international robotics industry professionals in one place to discuss the latest advancements in the field, the Robotic Industries Association (RIA) will host the one-day International Collaborative Robots Workshop on September 30 at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, California.
The workshop—which AIA President Jeff Burnstein said is being held in Silicon Valley due to the location being a "hotbed for robotics research and start-ups"—will provide a meeting place for industry leaders, researchers, suppliers, and users. Speakers will discuss where the industry is today, and where it is headed in the future. In addition to tabletop exhibits and a reception, the agenda includes the following:
