Lens modules from Varioptic to be showcased at Vision China

Varioptic will have its Caspian C-39N0-16, which features a 16 mm effective focal length and is compatible with up to 2/3" sensors, on display at its Vision China booth. The autofocus lens module is the first C-Mount lens objective in the Caspian family of auto focus lens modules. It features an image circle diameter of 11 mm, built-in driving electronics which accepts I²C, RS232, SPI and analog inputs under 5 to 24V power supply, and an integrated Arctic 39N0 liquid lens, which enables focus from 10 cm to infinity. These lenses are suitable for use in machine vision camera applications, including automated inspection, barcode reading, biometrics, and medical imaging.

Also on display at the booth will be the Caspian M12 family of auto focus lens modules, including the M12-39N0-15.8, which at 15.8 mm effective focal length, is the longest model offered. The module features a built-in Arctic 39N0 liquid lens, is compatible with up to 1/3" image sensors, and offers a motionless focus range from 7 cm to infinity.
