After launching a pilot phase for the lenses, Basler has announced that series production of its proprietary C-Mount lenses will kick off in February. Basler Lenses were developed to match the precise specification of its cameras, ensuring harmony between the components. Produced exclusively for Basler cameras, the lenses are designed for image sensors smaller than 1/2” and optimized for use with Basler ace and dart machine vision cameras. Users can choose one of the Basler Lenses with image circle dimensions to match the size of the camera sensor by using the BaslerLens Selector tool. Currently, there are six models available with focal lengths ranging from 4 mm to 25 mm.
