Submit your imaging and machine vision tutorials, resources, and video

Following our initial editorial call for content (With a deadline of August 24), we are going to now be accepting additional tutorial content throughout the course of Solutions in Vision. The content submitted and approved prior to the deadline will be included as part of the initial launch of the event, with newly-approved content being posted continually throughout Solutions In Vision.

Are you an expert in imaging or machine vision with a story to tell? If so, we want to hear from you.

Solutions in Vision, our four-month, multichannel event will provide exclusive content through our magazine, website, newsletters, social media, and videos to provide readers with an in-depth and interactive look at the latest trends and challenges facing today’s machine vision and imaging professionals.

As part of this series, we will offer readers educational and informative resources from experts in the industry. This will include tutorials, both written and video, on machine vision and image processing.

Have you written or produced something that you think would benefit our readers?If so, then submit your material for consideration to be included as part of Solutions in Visionthis fall. Before submitting, however, please review the following guidelines:

Choosing a topic

What topic should your content, whether video, book, or PDF should address? Choose one or more of the categories listed below. If you have questions, please let us know.

  • Factory automation, manufacturing, robotics
  • Cameras and imaging products
  • Imaging software and boards
  • Automotive, aerospace, transportation
  • Medical/life sciences
  • Security and surveillance
  • Food & beverage, packaging

Providing a summary

Along with your submission, please include a short summary describing the purpose and beneficial value for the reader. Before writing this, consider why someone should read this, why it will help them and what they will learn.If you have an accompanying image, please provide this.

Content relevance

Before submitting, please consider whether or not your submission will be relevant for a global, diversified audience. (See examples of accepted and published resources and video.)

Here is a good example:

“How to use smart cameras in automotive inspection applications.”

Here is a bad example:

“Why our USB 3.0 camera is the best camera on the market.”

If you’ve read through these and think that your content would be a fit for our first-of-its-kind, interactive event this fall, then please submit it, along with:

  • Topic
  • Summary
  • Photo (If applicable)

If your content is selected to be a part of Solutions in Vision, we will notify you in advance.
