German machine vision company ISRA VISION has acquired Vision Experts GmbH, a company based in Karlsruhe, Germany that specializes in print inspection technology.
Vision Experts specializes in optical inspection solutions for the entire production and finishing process of high-quality print products and its client base includes key names in the German and international printing industry. The inline inspection applications of the company are particularly focuses on the inspection of metal printing and packaging printing for the pharmaceutical industry. With the acquisition, ISRA strengthens its core business in the print inspection segment and continues its long-term growth strategy.
ISRA Vision expect an impact scale and synergy over the medium term from shared target markets and the global sales of the expanded product portfolio through ISRA’s infrastructure, with more than 25 international subsidiaries. Management plans to have the integration finalized within the next two quarters, as the team of Vision Experts will be brought together with the ISRA subsidiary in Karlsruhe.
For the current financial year (calendar year), Vision Experts anticipates growth of more than 20% over the previous year, to the amount of more than 3 million euros. Following this acquisition, ISRA anticipates company growth in the low double-digit percentage range.
