CoaXPress frame grabbers and image acquisition system to be showcased at ITE 2015

At ITE 2015 in Yokohama, Japan from December 2-4, Kaya Instruments will showcase its Komodo CoaXPress frame grabber, as well as its Komodo FXP CoaXPress over Fiber image acquisition system.

At ITE 2015 in Yokohama, Japan from December 2-4, Kaya Instruments will showcase its Komodo CoaXPress frame grabber (pictured), as well as its Komodo FXP CoaXPress over Fiber image acquisition system. The Komodo CoaXPress frame grabber, which features support for up to 8 CoaXPress links and a PCIe Gen3 x8 lanes interface. The Komodo frame grabber is capable of receiving video streams from up to 8 CoaXPress links in single, dual, quad or octal modes and simultaneously capturing from up to two quad link cameras. Each link supports standard CoaXPress bit rates up to 6.25 Gbps.

Kaya’s Komodo FXP system features a Komodo frame grabber and a range extender unit and uses fiber optic cables to acquire images from distances up to 10km in single-mode and up to 400m in multi-mode. The system is capable of receiving video streams from up to 4 CoaXPress cameras in single, dual, or quad modes, with each link supporting standard CXP bitrates up to 6.25 Gbps.
