Industrial cameras from Basler feature Sony IMX249 CMOS image sensor

Four new Basler ace industrial cameras featuring Sony’s IMX249 CMOS image sensor are now available: acA1920-40gc (GigE, color), acA1920-40gm (GigE, mono), acA1920-40uc (USB 3.0, color), and acA1920-40um (USB 3.0, mono).  

Four new Basler ace industrial cameras featuring Sony’s IMX249 CMOS image sensor are now available: acA1920-40gc (GigE, color), acA1920-40gm (GigE, mono), acA1920-40uc (USB 3.0, color), and acA1920-40um (USB 3.0, mono). The Sony IMX249 is a global shutter, 1/1.2" 2.3 MPixel CMOS image sensor with a 5.86 µm pixel size that can achieve frame rates of up to 40 fps. The cameras feature 10 or 12-bit pixel depth, a 29 x 29 x 29 mm design, and in-camera firmware features, such as denoising, sharpness and 5x5 debayering. In addition, the cameras come equipped with Basler’s pylon Camera Software Suite.
