Axion-CL, BitFlow’s sixth generation Camera Link frame grabbers, are built on the same half-size x8 PCI Express Gen 2.0 Board as the Cyton CXP CoaXPress frame grabber. The Camera Link 2.0-compliant Axion-CL supports up to two base, medium, full, or 10-tap cameras and CL clocks up to 85 MHz and can acquire from up to two 80-bit/85 MHz cameras simultaneously -- with the board appearing to Windows and application software to be two completely independent frame grabbers. Additionally, the the Axion-CL frame grabbers include the optimized DMA engine, StreamSync acquisition engine and buffer manager, along with its Timing Sequencer, I/O capabilities and Frame Sequence. Integration into a machine vision application is made easier with BitFlow’s software development kit, which supports both 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems.
