AIA announces 2016 Board of Directors

The AIA has announced its 2016 Board of Directors election results, which saw three vision industry veterans re-elected to serve new two year terms. 

TheAIA has announced its 2016 Board of Directors election results, which saw three vision industry veterans re-elected to serve new two year terms.

The three board members who were re-elected as follows, with accompanying quotes:

George Chamberlain, CEO, Pleora Technologies

"I am honored to be able to contribute to the stewardship of our industry through another term on the AIA board, especially in these exciting times with Machine Vision permeating more and more corners of our day-to-day lives," he said.

John Merva, Vice President, North America, Gardasoft Vision Ltd.

"I am once again honored to be re-elected to the AIA Board of Directors,"he said. "I am thankful to be able to help continue the growth and maturation of the industry to the benefit of suppliers and users alike."

Steve Wardell, Director, Imaging, ATS Automation

"I am happy to continue supporting the AIA through participation on the board for another term," he said "I feel the association is in a good position currently and only getting stronger. I hope to provide a subjective look at the industry from an Integrator perspective and continue to build on how the association involves this key portion of its membership. Thank you for the opportunity."
