Based on a combination of precision optics and thin film technology that spatially segregates light from a scene based on the spectral content, the Stream ColorFlow Lens from Stream Technologies enables point and shoot hyperspectral imaging.

Based on a combination of precision optics and thin film technology that spatially segregates light from a scene based on the spectral content, the Stream ColorFlow Lens from Stream Technologies enables point and shoot hyperspectral imaging. By adding a ColorFlow lens to a third-party monochrome camera, users can capture spectral images. ColorFlow Software, which is included, creates a datacube instantly and can apply a number of built-in spectral algorithms. The ColorFlow lens has 10 spectral channels across the VNIR range, however these are configured by Stream to optimize channel peak and width to match a given set of spectral algorithms. Additionally, the lens has no moving parts, features a standard C-Mount connection, has multi-channel snapshot, and works with a number of machine vision cameras.
