Featuring a 25 mm focal length, the Caspian C-39N0-250C-Mount 25mm EFL auto focus liquid lens module from Varioptic has a manual iris and integrated electronics. The lens—which can be driven by I²C, SPI, or RS232 interfaces and powered with a DC voltage from 3.3 to 24V—is based on the Arctic 39N0 liquid lens technology, which has no wear, low power consumption, and resistance to vibrations and mechanical shocks, making it suitable for use in demanding machine vision applications. Additionally, the lens features a variable focus from 12 cm to infinity and is designed to work with 2/3” image sensors.
