AX8 thermal imaging camera from FLIR to be showcased at The Vision Show 2016

FLIR’s AX8 fixed-mount thermal imaging camera which will be on display at the company’s booth at The Vision Show 2016 in Boston from May 3-5, features both a thermal and visible camera and is designed for space-constrained areas for automated and uninterrupted condition monitoring of critical electrical and mechanical equipment. 

FLIR’s AX8 fixed-mountthermal imaging camera which will be on display at the company’s booth at The Vision Show 2016 in Boston from May 3-5, features both a thermal and visible camera and is designed for space-constrained areas for automated and uninterrupted condition monitoring of critical electrical and mechanical equipment. The camera has an 80 x 60 uncooled microbolometer detector with a 7.5 µm – 13 µm spectral range and a 640 x 480 visual camera with a 66° field of view. The thermal imager has 4,800 measurement points, IP67 housing, up to six measurement areas, an Ethernet connector, and streaming thermal, visible, and MSX video in MPEG, MJPEG, and H.264 formats. In addition, the imager includes a full suite of analysis and alarm functions that automatically send alerts when the AX8 detects elevated temperatures.
