At The Vision Show 2016 in Boston from May 3-5, Microscan will unveil a new line of compact smart cameras. Microscan is touting the smart cameras as the world’s smallest autofocus smart camera platform and has noted that the cameras are designed for both auto ID and machine vision applications. The smart cameras feature CMOS image sensors (WVGA, SXGA, or QSXGA), liquid lens autofocus, connectivity options (USB, Serial, or Ethernet), scalable software for basic to complex vision inspection, and LED lighting, while also being able to reach frame rate of 60 fps.
