Optimized for embedding in OEM applications and remote imaging systems, the Model 4012 from Sensoray is a compact digital video recorder (DVR) that records audio and video to USB storage media in MP4 format and captures JPEG images without interrupting recording. Two 32-bit incremental encoder interfaces allow position information to be overlaid directly onto the video, and the A/V outputs allow live video, recorded A/V or JPEG snapshots to be displayed on an external monitor. Additionally, the Model 4012 DVR features a customizable user interface and encodes standard NTSC/PAL composite video using H.264 compression.
