TECHSPEC UC-Series fixed focal length lenses, which were on display at The Vision Show 2016, are now available from Edmund Optics. Built specifically for machine vision working distances and resolution requirements, the lenses are designed for pixels that are ≤2.2 μm, and provide high levels of resolution (>200 lp/mm), across the sensor, and are compatible with all standard C-Mount cameras. The lenses also feature focus and iris adjustments, as well as recessed set screws, and are manufactured for use at typical machine vision working distances. The lenses are also optimized for 1/2.5" sensors, but many focal lengths will work on sensors up to 1/1.8".
