Oulu, Finland, May 13, 2016 -FocalSpec Ltd, a developer and marketer of advanced optical sensors and systems for micro-topographic surface measurement, announced today that its new High-resolution 3D Line Confocal Imaging (LCI) Sensors were recognized by the judges of the annual Vision Systems Design Innovators Awards program. The judging panel consisted of esteemed experts from system integrator and end-user companies. FocalSpec’s LCI Sensors are designed for fast 3D surface measurement of challenging parts, components and assemblies at submicron accuracy. Typical measured variables include dimensions, offsets, gaps, flatness and roughness. The sensors measure 2000 points simultaneously at max. 2500 Hz with Z resolution up to 100 nanometers, depending on the model and settings.
