At The Vision Show 2016, we caught up with Andrew Kam, Kowa Sales Manager, who introduced the company’s new 1” anti-shock and vibration HC-V lens series, which were among the new machine vision and imaging products being showcased in Boston.

These lenses are available in 8mm, 12.5mm, 16mm, 25mm, 35mm, and 50mm, and are designed to be deployed in harsh environments due to their glued lens elements, two-way reversible nut, and fixed F-stop options. Additionally, these C-Mount lenses are designed for 1” image sensors and feature a two-way reversible nut that tightly locks the focus adjustment ring in place. Interchangeable iris plates, which can be glued, are used to select the F-stop.
