Two Blackfly S camera models from Point Grey—which feature the new Spinnaker software development kit, which is a GenICam 3 API library built for machine vision applications—are now available for pre-order: The BFS-U3-51S5C-C and BFS-U3-13Y3C-C. The BFS-U3-51S5C-C is a USB 3.0 camera based on the Sony IMX250, which is a 5 MPixel global shutter CMOS image sensor with a 3.45 µm pixel size that achieves a frame rate of 75 fps. The BFS-U3-13Y3C-C is a USB 3.0 camera that is based on the ON Semiconductor PYTHON 1300—a 1.3 MPixel global shutter CMOS image sensor with a 4.8 µm pixel size that can achieve a frame rate of 170 fps.
