CMOS image sensor from e2v is designed for low light imaging

Designed using e2v’s CMOS imaging technology, the Onyx EV76C664 CMOS image sensor is suitable for use in low light imaging applications where premium performance imaging is required. 

Designed using e2v’s CMOS imaging technology, the Onyx EV76C664 CMOS image sensor is suitable for use in low light imaging applications where premium performance imaging is required. The sensor is a 1.3 MPixel CMOS sensor with a 10 µm pixel size that can achieve a frame rate of 100 fps in 12-bit mode. Featuring an electronic global shutter or rolling shutter, the sensor also features an embedded active imaging system, which synchronizes external illumination and internal electronic shuttering. This feature—a recent gold-level honoree in the 2016 Innovators Awards—allows discernible color images to be produced at extremely low light levels and through diffusing environments (e.g. fog and smoke) by range-gating. The sensor is available in sparse color and monochrome filter (EV76C664ACT) and black and white (EV76C664ABT).
