Dual line 8k line scan cameras launched by e2v

Expanding on its line of ELiiXA+ line scan cameras, e2v has introduced two new dual-line 8k monochrome cameras, which feature 5 µm pixels that can be operated in two active CMOS line modes. 

Expanding on its line of ELiiXA+ line scan cameras, e2v has introduced two new dual-line 8k monochrome cameras, which feature 5 µm pixels that can be operated in two active CMOS line modes. The cameras are available in a 40KHz model (EV71YC2MCL8005-BA0) or 100KHz model (EV71YC2MCL8005-BA1), both with a Camera Link interface. Both models feature an 8192 x 2 CMOS line scan sensor, line rates up to 100,000 l/s, data rate up to 850 MB/s, and bit depths of 8, 10, and 12 bits. These new line scan cameras, according to e2v, are suitable for use in electronic device inspection, web inspection, parcel and postal sorting, and other general inspection applications.
