Dresden, Germany-based InfraTec, an infrared imaging technology product and service provider, recently celebrated its 25th year as a company with the 200 some-odd employees and their families at a summer festival.
At the festival, Managing Directors and founder members Dr. Matthias Heinze and Dr. Matthias Krauß thanked their employees for their steadfast commitment since the founding of the company.
"It never ceases to amaze me when I consider how we started 25 years ago with just a handful of employees in tiny rooms, and we find ourselves today with such a great team at a modern business location,” said Heinze, Managing Director of the infrared sensor division.
Just earlier this month, InfraTec released the ImageIR 10300 radiometric infrared camera, which is designed for industrial and scientific imaging applications, and opens the door to create thermograms with unprecedented image detail and sharpness, according to the company. The camera features a cooled 1920 x 1536 InSb infrared detector with a 10 µm pixel size that is capable of achieving speeds of 100 Hz in full resolution, as well as a 3.6 to 4.9 µm spectral range. Additionally, the camera features a 10 GigE interface with a data rate of 10 Gbit/s as well as a USB 2.0 interface and control and analysis software coupled with various trigger and flexible integration options.
