Scorpion 3D Stinger provides 3D vision for robots

A 2016 Innovators Awards bronze-level honoree, the Scorpion 3D Stinger for Robot Vision system consists of one or more Scorpion 3D Stinger Cameras mounted on a robot or over the crate, part or conveyor. 

A 2016 Innovators Awards bronze-level honoree, the Scorpion 3D Stinger for Robot Vision system consists of one or more Scorpion 3D Stinger Cameras mounted on a robot or over the crate, part or conveyor.

Tordivel’s Scorpion 3D stinger for robot vision identifies and locates any part in 3D with sub-pixel accuracy. The system features one or more Stinger stereo vision cameras, each of which consists of two cameras (VGA to 5MPixel), a number of projector options, and an algorithm to locate 3D features. Tordivel will be demonstrating advanced 3D picking, locating multiple products with 6 degrees of freedom.
